CoachingUP is run by FifthWhy, LLC, a Wisconsin company. This page says what we collect when you use coachingup.us, why we collect it, who sees it, and what you can do about it. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- If you send the contact form: your name, your email address, the topic you pick, your message, the date and time, and the IP address your browser reports.
- If you download the 3-Hour Plan guide: your name, your email address, the date and time, and your IP address.
- If you buy the book or a coaching package: Stripe handles the payment. We receive your name, your email address, what you bought, and a shipping address for the book. We never see your card number. Stripe's own policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- When you browse: our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security. We also use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and tells us which pages were viewed, from roughly where, on what kind of device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.
That is the whole list. There are no accounts to create, no mailing list, no advertising trackers, and nothing is bought from or sold to data brokers.
Why we collect it
- To answer your message and, if you asked for one, set up your free 15-minute call.
- To send you the guide and, at most, one follow-up email about it.
- To fill your order and ship the book.
- To see which pages people read, so we can improve them.
Who sees it
Bill Murray, and the services that keep the site running: our web host, our email provider, Stripe, and Google Analytics. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions and inquiry emails: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Order records: as long as tax law requires, which is seven years in the United States.
- Analytics data: Google keeps it for no more than 14 months.
Your choices and rights
- Email coach@coachingup.us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within 30 days.
- To stop Google Analytics on this site, block cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have the rights set out in the UK GDPR and the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. The same email address handles those requests.
Children
This site is for adults who run businesses and teams. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
